Error in rcontrib - maximum modifiers

Hello together,

i am using Radiance with Accelerad for Annual Irradiation analysis (using the Ladybug Annual Irradiance Recipe). Therefore i wanted to also make sub-hourly annual analysis (15 Min interval) but when running rcontrib i get the error that the maximum amount of modifiers is 10000 and i exceed it with the sun modifiers, because with a 15 min interval i have 4*8760 hours = 35.040 modifiers.

I saw this topic in the forum, but i am not sure if this is also possible in Accelerad.

Is there the possibility to run sub-hourly annual analysis with RADIANCE and Accelerad? If yes, how can the sun modifiers be handled in order to not run into the rcontrib Error.

In fact, the limit to the number of modifiers was removed in recent versions of rcontrib. I think this change went in some years ago, but after the branch that became Accelerad.

Most people use a subset of suns based on distinct sky positions over the year, although this does create some inaccuracies in the shadow positions.

When using RADIANCE it doesn’t throw the error, so it is an Accelerad related problem i guess. @Nathaniel_Jones is there the possibility to change the maximum allowed modifiiers in Accelerad?
