Hi all,
Is there a way to relate colored glare sources in the .pic file to those
numbered in the txt file generated using evalglare? In other words, the pic
file colors each source with a different color, how do i identify the
corresponding glare source number generated from detailed evalglare output?
Any pointers or suggestions would be appreciated!
Thank you,
Belal Abboushi
Hi Belal,
actually evalglare uses only 6 colors and distributes them according to the occurrence, which means somehow random and the same color can appear several times, although it is a different glare source. If the peak extraction happens (above 50000cd, you probably have a second glare source totally surrounded by another one).
In fact the coloring is meant to be just a testing-function to see if the glare sources are detected correctly or if the detecting parameters have to be adapted.
You can identify the center of each glare source by the x any y coordinates (column 3 and 4 of the output).
