Thanks, Greg and Tim!

Can you kindly explain the "reversing the order of operation" approach? Do
you mean flipping the image first before cropping it?

BTW, it seems that the horizontally flipped .hdr image created by pflip
cannot be correctly displayed in PhotosphereU application on Mac system.
What is shown in PhotosphereU is still the original one before flipping.
However, the flipped image can be correctly displayed in Photoshop. I'm not
sure if there's something wrong with my Mac system because the flipped .hdr
image can't be properly previewed either...

Please kindly advise!

The C file goes in src/px -- if you didn't compile Radiance, though, it

Tim's idea of reversing the order of operations should work, since
falsecolor can read from a pipe. Or, you could create a temporary file and
use the version of pflip you have.

Ji,

what if you just reverse the order of the two operations?

Dear Greg, thank you very much!

I've got the C file you sent. However, I have no experience in C
programming. So, can you kindly advise me how should I "compile" or "do
with" it?

What I want to do is to get a falsecolor sky radiance fisheye image and
map it back to a virtual sky dome. See the link below:

http://diva4rhino.com/forum/topics/gendaylit-in-diva-2-0-seriously-underesitmates-total-irradiation

Since the falsecolor image I generated from falsecolor2.exe is one with
East and West switched, I need to crop it to get ride of the color legend
and flip horizontally it so that East and West are correctly visualized.

Thanks again!

- Ji

Yes, we meant flipping the image horizontally before running falsecolor. This should also fix the issue with Photosphere.

I made the design decision to correct image orientations in Photosphere based on the input. Use the -c option of pflip if you don't want this to occur.

Best,
-Greg
