Radiance Window Tutorial Help

Hi everyone, i am trying out the Radiance tutorial. However, i am stuck at the portion of creating the window area. I have followed the step of creating the room with !genbox gray_paint room 3 2 1.75 -i and then adding the following dimensions into the room.rad.
gray_paint polygon room.5137
0
0
30
3 2 1.75
3 2 0
3 0 0
3 0 1.75
3 .625 1.75
3 .625 .625
3 1.375 .625
3 1.375 1.375
3 .625 1.375
3 .625 1.75

However, the room i created still does not seem to have the window cut out. Am i missing a step here?

a) comment out this line:
!genbox gray_paint room 3 2 1.75 -i
it creates a second box, so you don’t actually see the polygons you’re trying to edit

b) your polygons room.4620 and room.5137 both have all x-coords set to 3.
it seems to are trying to edit room.5137, but can’t see the results because any hole you put in it will be filled by room.4620

c) also, because of this, the room is actually open to the west. Try setting the x-coords of room.5137 to 0.

Thanks Axel it works perfectly now
