Radiance/Blender/LiVi

Dear all.
I just wanted to announce the availability of a new release of a set of scripts for the 3D content creation suite Blender - called LiVi - that acts as a pre/post-processor for Radiance. Version 2 includes animatable materials and geometry, dynamic daylight simulation capability and artificial lights via IES files.
Details and download at http://arts.brighton.ac.uk/research/office-for-spatial-research/projects2/livi
Version 0.2 should be fairly 'stable' but bug reports, questions and feature requests are most welcome. I can be contacted directly at R.Southall_at_brighton_dot_ac_dot_uk.
Regards
Ryan

Hi Ryan,

looks great! I am excited to see a Blender-based Radiance framework alive again!

I had a quick look into some of the demonastration videos. The pixel-ish shapre of the shadows and the term "receiver surface" - am I correct that you make use of a point grid for the calculations, not rpict & friends?

Cheers, Lars.

Yeah Ryan, looks cool, and thanks for the NREL shout-out! =8-)
