I have now included the Linux binaries for Radiance 3.4 on the website, available from:
http://radsite.lbl.gov/radiance/license.html
I compiled with and without dynamic linking. I don't know how portable dynamically-linked binaries are across Linux systems, but you're welcome to try. Certainly, the executables (and download size) is much smaller!
I did not verify that every aspect of the system is working correctly, but I ran through a standard rendering and it seemed to work. Please let me know of any problems you encounter.
