We have developed the first version of a tool we called RadDisplay. It is a simple tool to visualize Radiance images on Windows and Linux. It allows to view images, luminance and illuminance values, correct exposition, etc.
It also allows to make false color images and to adjust the color scale rather easily.
It is mainly written in Python. It uses a few Radiance programs from Greg's original distribution on Linux and Francesco's binaries on Windows.
It is released under GPL license so feel free to use it. We'd like very much to have your feedback at raddisplay@deluminaelab.com
Yes, we liked it! This is such a nice addition to the Radiance tools
available
Thanks a lot for your efforts!
I even managed to use it on an Intel Mac, so I might be able
to package it into a Mac application if you're interested.
Ciao,
Francesco

Yes, a Mac package would be great. I have already been told that it is not so easy to install on OSXas numpy has problems.

Yep, numpy and scipy are a bit tricky to compile,
but I think I found the right "recipe".
I'll keep you posted ...
