Questions of ximage

Hi all,
I am using the ximage to get some information about the pixels. The example falsecolor image is as follows. What is the meaning of “163.5L” from the following command? Refering to the manpage of ximage, I think the value is not the luminance of the pixel under the cursor cause the sun area is very bright.

Ximage cannot report the original luminance of a picture converted in falsecolor. You would have to go back to the output of rpict (or pfilt) before you used falsecolor.
