[Question] Window is too bright in equirectangular rendering

Hello,

I am creating equirectangular projections using this tutorial (Create 360 VR panoramas with Radiance)

I am running into a problem whereby the light from the window is too bright. The pcond -h helped some, but it is still brighter than it ought to be. I’ve tried changing the exposure as well but that didn’t remedy the issue.

Has anyone else had a similar problem, or have some ideas for how to fix it?

The image below is a rendering after the pcond -h command was applied.

Did you try pcond without the -h option, since that adds some source flare to the image and can wash out bright areas and their surroundings?
