Does anyone know how to print out the pixel position and luminance
information for a whole image? For one pixel, we can do that by
pressing 't' in ximage, and we can also drag the right button for
continuous pixels. Thanks.

You might want to take a look at pvalue, which can read picture and output the pixel values.
