Pixel overflow correction

Hi list,
I have met a problem about the command “pvalue” in Radiance. I try to correct the luminance of the overflow pixels when sun is in the view. And the method is from the appendix of this article: (PDF) Improving the Accuracy of Measurements in Daylit Interior Scenes Using High Dynamic Range Photography

However, there exists an error of the procedure D and I don’t know how to solve it yet. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Your hyphen must not be a true hyphen (minus) character. Sometimes, cut-and-paste turns a hyphen into a “smart hyphen” that messes with commands. Try hand-typing this character, instead.
