Another question understanding the findglare routine...
When using the -ga option, multiple angles can be
specified. Are these angles measured relative to an
absolute system (ie, xyz coordinates of a model), or are
they relative to the view? (For example, in an angular
view, the observer has compressed view planes)

They are relative to the current view, with the direction normalized to be perpendicular to the view-up vector if it is not already.
