Mac OS 11.1 for i9

Have there been any challenges running Radiance on Mac OS 11.1? My university IT department is still testing it and will not let me install myself on an older MacBook Pro. I am in the market to purchase my own 16" i9 and want to be sure I can run a compiled version of Radiance before purchasing. I use XQuartz for the X11 library.

We’re all waiting to hear if anyone has Radiance compiled on the M1 and latest macOS. @Lars_Grobe said he’s got one on order.

I expect it will work on a current MacBook Pro 16". Those have Intel processors and will probably work fine. It is just possible there will be a problem with the i9 processor but, really, I doubt it.

Anyone got a test system?
