The position is for a Scientific Researcher, full-time, starting from July 1, 2025, and is a fixed-term contract until June 30, 2027, with the potential for extension for a year if PhD is pursued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Modeling thermal building simulations for central and decentralized room conditioning.
- Use thermophysiological human models to predict thermal comfort and user interactions with building systems.
- Contribute to the PECSnet research project, which focuses on personal environmental comfort systems.
- Collaborate on simulation methods, co-simulation, and the coupling of different simulation domains.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, building physics, or related fields.
- Knowledge of thermal comfort and building physics.
- Experience with thermal building simulations and proficiency in numerical methods and programming (Python preferred).
- Independent work with high self-motivation.
- Option for Ph.D. completion during the role.
