ies2tab

Mmm.. as proved, my ignorance is great, and probably my english is poor too.

I'm sorry Greg but I didn't understand the following:

" .A long-standing bug has been recently pointed out by Zack Rogers
.related to the orientation of full photometric distributions, and has
.been included in the latest HEAD available from radiance-online.org.
.A statement has also been added to clarify the assignment of the
.width (along y) and length (along x) axes. "

What are HEADs in radiance-online.org ?
And actually it is not orientation of photometric distribution the thing which is wrong, but just the luminaire shape which is rotated.. (due to ies2tab and not to ies2rad). But I could be wrong...

Lucio

.
.Hope this helps.

Thanks to Rob for his thoughtful response...

Regarding the HEAD release, those who are willing to compile their own copy of Radiance (generally implying they are on some flavor of Unix) may download the latest changes from www.radiance-online.org by following the "Download Radiance" link along the left frame and going to "latest version" to grab last night's source tree. This will include whatever changes and bug fixes have been made since the last release.

Cheers,
-Greg
