How does Radiance handle glazing transmittance - dependent on the angle of incidence?

Dear all,

Does anyone know how Radiance calculates how much of an incoming light ray
is reflected and how much is transmitted dependent on the angle of
incidence?

Hi Amalie,

the answer depends on the material model you choose. Check material.pdf
which comes with the Radiance distribution. Peter Apian-Bennewitz
recently published a nice article giving an overview on the various
