Download the HEAD sometime tomorrow and see if it works. I took a
slightly different approach than yours, and it may not work as you
expect, but matches the behavior of xform exactly.
Works fine now. Thanks for that. It's a very elegant solution. Those
built-in modifier in the CSH (e.g. :r, :t) are pretty nice. I didn't
realise they existed until now. I don't think there is a BASH
equivalent...
