Hi,
I'm trying to run a -dds simulation using Daysim 4, but get the following error when I run gen_dc in -dds mode (gen_dc file.hea -dds)
FATAL ERROR - ds_illum variable DDS_sensor_file not provided in header file
However, I can't find anything in the Daysim documentation that describes the "DDS_sensor_file" keyword / behaviour. I have successfully run this same header file in regular mode and I would have thought the sensor file should be the same.
Is there anywhere I can find this behaviour?
Thanks,

Hi Reinier,
As far as I can recall, you don't need to create the DDS sensor file yourself, but only add the following entries into the .hea file.
*DDS_sensor_file* test.dds
*DDS_file* test.sen

Alstan

Thanks Alstan, that is correct the *.sen files came from an idea Denis Bourgeois and I conceptualized (but never fully used) to store additional info with each sensor in an XML file. This can be largely ignored.
