Dear Group,
Seems to me Maxwell is leaching from this forum everynow & then
Take a look at the following:
http://www.maxwellrender.com/files/cooperative_and_edition.avi
# requires the techsmith codec:
That looks inspired on RTcontrib to me?
Actually, its a useful tool.
There are a few cases where sliders actually can work.
I recall George Schorsch wrote a python/PIL plugin that allows one to read
radiance .pic files.
This would making a similar GUI (well, Greg Ward initiated this idea,
correct me if I'm wrong, I suppose that makes us entitled to it
fairly
straightforward in an platform independent manner. True?

What? Where? When? How?
That's one of my sore points: having to convert RGBE files before
I can use them in Python.
Schorsch, is that true?

If I can be so rude to speak before my turn:
http://www.python.net/crew/schorsch/pilray.html
I think Georg has been perhaps overly modest about the pilray extension and
perhaps by the increasing python moment on this list -thanks Georg-, a good
time to pick up this project?
It'd be awesome!
If only I could code C++
