I was wondering if there is a way in Radiance to average the normals on
imported polys.
I've been importing dxf's
everything renders with the faceted look
Also - I'm interested in what other people are doing with Radiance.
Anyone want to post their Works in Progress?
This is an interior I'm playing with - a big image - about 250K

You'll notice the facets on the columns
Thanks Rob

Hi!
AFAIK one of the import tools (3ds2mgf) has a "smooth"-switch.
However, you might also have some luck with ambient resolution settings.
And, of course, you could refine the geometry (and divide the model using
instances to save memory).
