Radiance tech. note #3 - Generate ambient sampling markers

Group,

Genampos is a script to generate markers where ambient
sampling occurred. A Technical Note (#3) describing its use
is now available:

http://www.iesd.dmu.ac.uk/~jm

Go to the 'resources' section. The genampos script usually
resides in ray/src/util as genampos.csh but is not installed
by default. There is a bug in the current (3.5) and previous
versions. Get the fixed version from the development source
tree or pick it up with the tech note.

Hi John,

Looks extremely useful. Sadly enough, it missed the new LEARNIX by about a week.

Cheers

Axel

A P.S. to John's message -- tomorrow's HEAD release should be set to install genambpos by default. I don't know why it wasn't being installed before. Must have been some where at the back of the queue (after the kitchen sink).

Sorry about that, John!

I do. Prior to this note the script had no documenation
at all. Wisely, it was kept hidden where only people
who look for trouble would find it.
