I've already successfully compiled Radiance-HEAD using CYGWIN, too.

In that case, my request for a more meaningful patch file would
go to you, since Marcus just pointed to your page as well.
Reading his post again, he didn't really say he created the port
himself as I had originally assumed. Sorry for the confusion.

I think you announced your port already some time ago, but I
didn't look at it in detail back then. Would it be possible
for you to create a patch file with just the relevant changes?
This would enable us to adapt those into the original sources
so that they will then compile on cygwin out of the box.

No problem. You should have understood that I'm quite
inexperienced with the diff command ...

Sorry for the patch file: I used diff for the first time
and didn't remember that I also opened and saved files
that were not relevant before building the patch.
