the Readme still (got the tar from radiance-online.org yesterday, 31th of july) says:
[...] For complete documentation on the system as of release 3.1, refer to
"Rendering with Radiance" by Larson and Shakespeare, which used to be
available from Morgan Kauffman Publishing. Unfortunately, the book has
gone out of print, and the authors are currently looking at alternative
means of distribution.[...]
Maybe this should be changed to encourage those who download the sources for the first time to get a copy of the book?

Thanks for the reminder -- I've taken care of it. (I tend to forget about the README file, since I never read it anymore myself.)
I also noticed that RwR is now available on amazon.com as well.
