mesh primitive definition

Really cool to see 3.7.1 compiled... wow, what service!

Actually I've been digging only semi-succesfully in the archives to find a
definition on the recently added mesh primitive, since I'd like to write a
custom exporting function to Radiance. Where could I find a description of
this primitive? Any experiences writing converters to mesh primitives are
appreciated, of course!

Cheers,

Jelle.

Hi Jelle,

The Radiance mesh file is a compiled format. The easiest way to it is via Wavefront/Alias .OBJ format. If you really want to write your own custom exporter directly to .rtm, you'll have to adapt what lives in the src/ot directory. I wrote the routines to be general, but I don't have guide to offer in their use.
