Anyone know where I can get a copy of Grynberg's Radiance Validation report (LBID 1575)? I'd like to cite it and I can't seem to find it online anywhere.

Hi Randolph,
I don't think this report exists online, and only a few copies exist. I have one in my closet.

Hee. Thanks for the quick reply. I'll drop a note to LBL's archivists; there may be a copy somewhere in their stacks that they can copy or even lend.
Randolph
I'm checking to see if we have a copy on file-otherwise we can scan Greg's and make it available

Very, very, very belated followup on this: I'm tying up loose ends in my thesis, and this is the last paper I want to cite I haven't actually seen. The history is thus:
I wrote:

Greg replied:

Then Steven Selkowitz:

Greg's and make it available
I did follow up with LBL's archivists, and they couldn't find it.
Did it by any chance turn up?
Randolph
I found it in my closet, and LBNL did indeed scan the report. I don't know how to get it from them, unfortunately. I haven't retrieved my copy back yet, either.
Cheers,
-Greg

We scanned Gregs copy and the scan was posted on our pub site last year; you can download at http://btech.lbl.gov/pubs
then search grynberg
we have all of our pubs posted here- almost back to illustrated manuscripts or at least some done on typewriters
note you can search abstracts, titles, and/or authors
for example a search for the word "daylight" in abstracts will return 156 documents you can review and download.

It's a really interesting report--good stuff on modeling, especially. Different from what I expected, but then that's why one reads the original paper. I wonder if an ME professor I know could help me build that reflectometer.

Marilyne Anderson at MIT worked on building such a reflectometer, using an ellipsoid rather than a sphere. I don't know where that project stands at the moment.
