I'm checking my build of 3.7.1 and notice that the source
for genbeads is provided but it is not listed in the makefile
for build. Is this a slip? Is genbeads part of radiance or
not?

Hi James,
Genbeads, gencatenary, and a few other Radiance generators are unsupported but provided for the adventurous as compilable additions. You're on your own figuring out how they work and if they're useful. If you really like something, feel free to write a man page for it.

Thanks for the info. I will leave out of my binary distribution.
I noticed the this when running an old copy (2003 Dec) of the
"Radiance Testing Framework", is there a newer version?
James.
