I've successfully compiled Radiance using Cygwin on
Windows XP.

can download the cygwin Radiance executables:

There is also a short description about what to change in
the makeall script and Rmakefiles to have everything compiled,
and some snapshots of my window$/cygwin/radiance desktop.
Please notice that the binaries only work in the cygwin environment,
