bug in bgraph

Hi,

i found that using polar plots without ymin, I can create a mess on my screen plotting the following through x11meta:

title = "A circle"
A(x) = 100
xmin = 0
xmax = 360
#ymin = 0
#ymax = 250
Anpoints = 180
period = 360

Uncommenting the ymin line, everything is fine.

I do not know if there are many users of this tool, but for some simple tasks it is a nice replacement of other packages such as gnuplot and - it is available on all radiance installations :slight_smile:

CU Lars.

Hi Lars,

This is a very low-priority bug. Anything but a circle plots correctly, and why would you want to plot a circle? Don't you know what one looks like?

This is a very low-priority bug.

I do not want to claim it is high-priority, but not reporting it seamed
to be wrong, too. I could not find anything else affected by this, the
reasin I wanted to plot the circle was not cause I never saw one, but to
be able to draw some kind of a grid.

Happy new year!!!

Lars.

Hi Lars,

I appreciate the report, really. The polar plot type sets grid=1 by default, but you may want to have your own grid lines, which you can add like this. If you have any other data with it, the plots should come out fine.

Best,
-Greg
